Game Event Review Dream Upon Lantern
At long last, an over due post is warranted and here’s my first game review at the tail end of January 2023.
If you haven’t heard about Genshin Impact, here’s a few things I can share. It’s an action role-playing game which is playable as a single-player and multiplayer as an added bonus it’s also cross-platform with rich fantasy storyline.
One of the most interesting high lights of the game is Liyue’s Lantern Rite Festival, where each year a new theme is introduced and new games, maps and characters are unlocked. Here is this year’s Lantern Rite Festival trailer entitled Dream Upon a Lantern.
Now that all the vital details have been established for both the familiar players and new to the world of Genshin, here’s an honest review for the current festival.
Story: The stories shared in this year’s Lantern rite is slowly shaping the world of Teyvat, as it dives more into it’s characters past, we find ourselves in for a sweet treat as we get to see their stories unfold through madam ping’s backstory.
I suppose one of the best high lights for me this year is how it confirms Hu Tao and Xinyan’s friendship as well as Xiangling and Yunjin’s friendship with the Xinqiu and Chongyun. So, if you’re a Hu Tao or Xinyan DPS– this years Lantern Rite is definitely a treat for all of us.
Game Play: As of previous Lantern Rites have gone by, this year’s Latern Rite didn’t feel as much of a challenge, yet regardless of how simple the mini-games were. it was still appreciated nonetheless.
